Restaurant Revitalization Fund

Democrats in the House and Senate passed the American Rescue Plan, a $1.9 trillion relief package aimed at helping ease economic uncertainty to the American people and small businesses. In this plan is a section called the Restaurant Revitalization Fund with a big chunk of money, $29 billion, dedicated just to restaurants.

What is it:
The math is easy - You take your gross revenue from 2019 and subtract the gross revenue from 2020 and you end up with free money that the government is willing to give you.
But, from that amount, you have to subtract both your PPP loans (grants) and they send you whatever is leftover.
So, if you missed out on the first PPP or don’t qualify for the 2nd PPP, this program will make sure that you are taken care of in some way.

This is a GRANT that you will not have to repay.
